Kent is a graduate of Williamstown High School and a current resident of Williamstown, WV. He attended Ohio Valley College, where he played on the Fighting Scots basketball team. He later graduated from WVU-Parkersburg with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, specializing in Accounting. Kent is certified as an enrolled agent with the Internal Revenue Service, which allows him to represent taxpayers before the IRS. He has 10 years of accounting and tax preparation experience, working with personal, corporate, partnership, and non-profit tax returns.
